Suction cups or soft plastic removers can be used.  With the soft plastic removers, the lids are held away as when placing a lens and the 
remover is placed against the front 
surface of the lens and lens lifted off.

If the remover is accidently placed 
on the eye and not the lens surface, 
it will stick to the eye.  Do not try 
to pull it directly off, slide it to the 
sclera and break the suction by tilting 
the handle to the side rather than 
pulling straight off.

The suction cup is used in the same way 
except the stem must be squeezed prior 
to touching the surface then released to 
form a suction on the front of the lens.
